They’re generally E-Z bake and E-Z clean up. The newer products, many of them anyway, have plastic lids-a nice addition to great products. With that said, I was disappointed but not surprised when I got this set and ONLY the 3 quart oblong had the ergonomic handles. In fact, the other pieces had no handles whatsoever. A quick look at the picture shows NO HANDLES on the 2 smaller pieces. I feel this statement by Pyrex is deliberately misleading and NOT a typo. I assign the fault directly at World Kitchen, the NEW maker of Pyrex and Amazon for not catching this gross misrepresentation. My other issue, as is with others buying the "NEW" Pyrex, is that they are about 1/3 lighter in weight than the ones made by Corning. I still have some of these-and the weight difference is very noticeable. This is a further cheapening of consumer products being forced upon us. After I received these, I went out and bought some Anchor Hocking glass bakeware. They are heavier and made with thicker glass, so I guess they will get my business in the future. I cannot recommend this set due to the issues listed here. I took off one star for general purposes, one for misleading description and one more for light, thin cheapened products. I really like the big pan with the handles built right in there but I do worry that they will break. (Especially with my experiencing the purple pans blowing up in my oven!) These seem more sturdy and the covers are nice to have as well. (Use less saran wrap  love them, Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
